New court documents are being revealed as the defense and the prosecution prepare for Josh Duggar’s November trial. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the 33-year-old father of seven was charged with receiving and possession of child pornography on April 30.
To recap, Duggar received bail and was put on house arrest in May following his initial arrest. He was ordered to avoid any and all contact with minors, except for his six children, so long as Josh Duggar’s wife, Anna, is present.

Anna, who has been married to Josh for 13 years, is currently pregnant with their seventh child. They had announced their pregnancy and that their seventh child would be a girl just a week before Josh’s arrest.
Anna has reportedly maintained her support for her husband despite the charges against him. During his May detention hearing, Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Gerald Faulkner testified for the prosecution alleging that one of the files reportedly recovered from Duggar’s work computer revealed the sex abuse of a child ranging from 18 months to 12 years of age. He added that the images were “in the top five of the worst of the worst that I’ve ever had to examine.”
It was also revealed that despite the software Anna had installed on his work computer that was meant to help him with his porn addiction, Josh Duggar was able to sidestep detection because he allegedly used a network that was not registered through the software. As Mamas Uncut previously reported, the software, called Covenant Eyes, was supposed to notify Anna if Josh was looking at things he should not be.
Now, new court documents received by multiple news agencies are revealing that prosecutors found evidence that Duggar shared and downloaded child sexual abuse material on a “peer-to-peer network called BitTorrent.” The document also revealed that his crimes were discovered by a detective who was using law enforcement tools and tract the disgraceful online activity back to Josh and his Arkansas car dealership.
“Detective Amber Kalmer in Little Rock, Arkansas, used a law enforcement tool to download files depicting the sexual abuse of children directly from the user of a single Internet Protocol (‘IP’) address over the BitTorrent peer-to-peer network,” one of the court documents read.

According to Detective Amber Kalmer’s report, she found a “zip file of 65 photos of naked girls between the ages of 7 and 9.” The detective further states that a video was also discovered showing a child being raped by an adult man.
While authorities arrested Josh, they also seized his work computer which featured him, his wife, and his kids as the background. “A subsequent forensic examination of that device and other devices seized from the defendant and the car lot pursuant to the warrant uncovered evidence demonstrating that the defendant used the HP Desktop to download from the internet and, subsequently, possess multiple files depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct,” the document reads, in part.
Josh Duggar’s trial will begin on November 30, 2021.
