Meghan Trainor Posts Adorable Photo Of Baby Riley, Daryl’s ‘Mini-Me’

In an adorable new photo, Meghan Trainor shows off just how alike baby Baby Riley and husband Daryl Sabara are!

“Juni Jr,” Trainor captioned the sweet pic. The name “Juni” is a reference to the infamous character Sabara played in the hit series, Spy Kids.

Just last month, Trainor cooked up the best birthday surprise for her husband Sabara. In the clip posted to Instagram, the couple can be seen playing with their now 5-month-old son, while repeatedly reminding the sweet little baby that they love him.

Out of the blue, the little one replies: “I love you,” which obviously sends his parents into an excited scream and they hold him close. The moment is then followed by Riley staring ahead wide-eyed, most likely ready to cry due to all the excitement.

“We’re going to count it!” proud mom Trainor, 27, happily states. The singer then captioned the clip, “Happy birthday @darylsabara ! You’ll never know how much we love you❤️.”

The happy news comes just after Trainor detailed her traumatic delivery of Riley, who was born via cesarean section back in February of this year.

Trainor revealed how her newborn was breech and had “breathing issues” just after delivery in a recent interview.

“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry,” Trainor, 27, said of her son. “He didn’t make noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’” Doctors then informed Trainor that Riley was having breathing issues.

“It was terrifying,” Trainor recalled. Riley, who is now 3 months old, was then quickly rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit and had to have a feeding tube. “I got to see him for one second before they took him away,” Trainor told Today. “That was probably the worst part.” Trainor added, “But we’re so lucky we got to bring him home after five days.”

In a post to Instagram, a quick video revealed how Riley has come a long way since that stressful birth, happy and content.

Trainor revealed on Today how she took precautions during pregnancy to preserve her mental health, which included taking a safe, low-dose antidepressant during pregnancy under the monitoring of her doctors. “I haven’t had any postpartum depression or anything. I think the medicine definitely helped,” she shared, also stating how therapy, support from friends and family, and working out has helped immensely when it comes to her mental health in check.
