Five years later, during the pandemic in 2020, Stefani and Shelton announced that they were engaged to be married after Shelton popped the question at the same place they got married this weekend.
Over the last five years, the musical couple gave fans quite a few glimpses into their relationship via social media and while judges on The Voice. Whether it be Shelton acclimating quite well to his new role as her three children’s stepfather:

These two have proven over the last five years that they are a match made in pop-and-country music heaven. According to Fox News, the church where they exchanged vows was one Shelton actually had built just for them.
The couple has not yet opened up about their wedding, despite being so open about their relationship in the past. One can only hope that they will share a photo or two with their fans in the near future.
As previously mentioned, while Shelton has no biological children on his own, Stefani has three sons, Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7, from her first marriage to Gavin Rossdale. Shelton has been married twice before, most notably to singer Miranda Lambert.

In 2019, Stefani—then 49 years old—said that Shelton was a great man to her three boys. However, it’s unclear if the newlywed couple will choose to have a child of their own.
“I just never thought in my wildest dreams [that] on paper, a cowboy and a ska-like girl from Anaheim would be hanging out,” she explained. “But, it works perfect and we’re having so much fun. And we’re just blessed to be at this point in our lives.”
Congratulations to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton! We wish them and their family nothing but happiness!
