A woman on TikTok was floored when she read in the local newspaper her husband’s name under the birth announcement section. The catch? She wasn’t expecting any time soon….
The mom, Ami Addison, revealed the situation in a clip last week.
Addison, who goes by aaddison01online, responded to the prompt: “Tell me how you found out your ex spouse was cheating.”
“Say Les,” she said, “I have a great story. And it all started before their 10th wedding anniversary. The woman was in her office, casually reading the newspaper when she noticed something odd.
“At that time in the newspaper they would publish birth announcements; the parents’ names, the sex of the baby, the date they were born, what hospital, and if it was a boy or girl,” she explained. “So I see my husband’s name and some other female’s name.”

But she knew fairly quickly that it was her husband as he has a unique name.
“So, I looked at the hospital website where they also post pictures of new babies, typed in his name and her first name — sure enough, they had a baby boy, a few days prior,” she continued.
“Not only that, they had a baby girl about a year-and-a-half before that,” she continued. “So yeah, that’s how I found out I was being cheated on.”

One person commented: “Men will have a WHOLE SECOND LIFE. How do they do it?!!? I can’t even juggle work and my one monogamous relationship properly.”
While another said: “Similar to my grandmother. She found out he purchased a home in the newspaper.”
