Bindi Sue Irwin‘s first days of motherhood have been exactly what we expected, adorable. From their precious announcement that Grace Warrior Irwin Powell was born on their one-year wedding anniversary to the pictures she has shared of her baby girl, you can’t help but smile.
Most recently, Irwin delighted her fans when she shared the cutest photo of Grace sleeping in her crib. “Our beautiful girl,” the new mom wrote, “always dreaming.” Awe!
But we also can’t ignore the photos they shared while celebrating her first week of life. “Our perfect Grace Warrior is one week old. This week has been filled with sweet snuggles and infinite love,” and the picture revealed just that.
And while Irwin has turned off her Instagram comments, fans have been turning to her husband, Chandler Powell‘s social media page to offer some sage advice for the young parents. “Soak up every single second in that newborn bubble, it goes way too fast. Soak up the good and the bad, cherish every single moment,” one commenter wrote and it’s so true!

Another member of the Irwin family thoroughly enjoying the newest member of the family and his new role is Bindi’s brother Robert, who is quite keen on being the hilarious uncle. On April Fools Day, Robert shared this joke on Instagram:

As Irwin wrote following the birth of her baby girl, “Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior. Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad.”
It is truly no surprise that Irwin and Powell were smitten with their beautiful baby girl instantly. “There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl,” Irwin wrote when introducing her to the world. “She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed.”
