A lawyer for Kevin Federline revealed how his client feels about the recent controversy following the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary. The doc aired as part of New York Times Presents on Hulu/FX and raised many questions about the legitimacy of the conservatorship battle between Britney Spears and her father, Jamie Spears.
It appears that Federline has no problem with the legal arrangement because it is keeping his kids “safe.”
Kevin Federline, through his family attorney, expressed no desire to side with Britney Spears or be involved in any way with her conservatorship drama.
Federline’s family law attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, addressed his client’s involvement in the ongoing conservatorship, which Britney has been under since 2008 this week. “Kevin has no involvement with regard to Britney and her attorneys asking to remove Jamie as conservator,” the lawyer said. “He has stayed out of the conservatorship issues.”
Federline shares two sons Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14, with Britney.
In September 2019, Jamie requested that Britney’s care manager, Jodie Montgomery, take over his control of conservatorship as he was dealing with health issues. Following the request, Britney asked a court to have Jamie “suspended immediately.” That failed and Jamie remains co-conservator of his daughter’s estate. The conservatorship has been extended until September 2021.
“[Kevin] thinks Jodi Montgomery has done an admirable job and he has no other position to state with regard to the conservatorship,” Kevin’s lawyer explained, adding that “Kevin’s main concern is that his boys are always safe and their best interests are maintained.”

Federline’s comments stand in stark contrast to Britney’s current boyfriend, Sam Asghari who had some stronger words to share with the public in recent days about the conservatorship and Jamie Spears.
“Now it’s important for people to understand that I have zero respect for someone trying to control our relationship and constantly throwing obstacles our way,” Asghari revealed. “In my opinion, Jamie is a total d–k.”

Asghari, a personal trainer and entertainer, is not one to usually disclose any details about his relationship with Britney so his recent statement came as a shock to many fans. He informed readers that he would not be “going into details” about why he spoke out because Jamie had “always respected our privacy.”
Britney and Asghari have been dating since 2016 since they met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video. The “Gimme More” singer posts photos of the pair together on social media occasionally giving fans a glimpse into their very private life and relationship.
