A 9-year-old from Oklahoma may finally be getting his wish to be adopted after a video of him talking about being in foster care has gone viral. In the video, Jordan revealed that he had been in foster care for six years and would love nothing more than to find his forever family.
In an interview with Fox 59, Jordan revealed that both he and his brother were put into foster care at a young age and were immediately separated. Now, Jordan rarely gets to see his brother as he has been adopted while Jordan has not.

But Jordan hopes his adoptive parents are right around the corner. When asked by Fox 59 if there was anywhere in the world he could go where would it be, Jordan replied by saying, “to an adoption party for a home.”
And if he could have three wishes, he would wish for “a family, family, family. Those are the only wishes I have.” When it comes to the type of family he would want to have, Jordan admits he’s not picky. He would love to have a mom and a dad, or just mom, or just a dad, “I don’t really care. The reason why [a family] is important is because so I could have some people to talk to any time I need to.”
Jordan also said that when he gets older he wants to be a police officer because “they’re fun and they protect people.” Now, thousands of people are inquiring about Jordan, hoping that they will become the forever home he so desperately wants and needs.
Casey White, an Oklahoma DHS official, told TMZ that after Jordan’s interview went public “there was an explosion of interest. Five thousand online inquiries came through in just the first 12 hours.
As a result, in order to handle the influx of calls and to get Jordan the perfect forever family as soon as possible, White says they have asked people to work overtime to make that all happen. They are also hoping to keep Jordan near his brother and his adopted family.
