A 12-year-old girl was saved by her family’s dog in Ohio when a man chased her down.
Last Saturday, the girl was followed by a man in a 1970’s model Ford pick-up truck who then got out of the car to chase her, according to a police report.
She then ran up the driveway to her dad’s house, where her family dog knocked the pick-up driver to the ground — and the dog was said to have gotten him “pretty good.”
According to police, the man escaped in his vehicle and headed from Columbiana toward New Waterford.
In a Facebook post, officials wrote, “If you have any information on this incident or vehicle please contact Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office. 330-424-7255.”

Just last month, yet another furry friend came to their family’s rescue.
A family’s one-and-a-half-year-old Maremma mix dog is being called a hero after helping a girl who was having a seizure.
Clover the dog’s, who hails from Canada, fast acting saved her life while she was on walk in her neighborhood.

Many praised the dog’s valiant efforts — of course — for acting fast and (fur)ious.
One user said: “Why can’t dogs have the same life span as humans. ????” and “Awesome, such a clever dog ???? ❤ ???? Happy to hear the owner is ok.”
While another said: “Thank god for that dog and the driver that stopped, so many people would have just driven around him and said ” huh that was weird”…”
Followed by: “The goodest pupper for sure. I’m glad that the owner has such a smart and loving dog. I’m grateful that the driver stopped to help them.”
